Euro World Cup: Best Football Player 2020

Euro 2020 is one of the most anticipated sporting events in 2021 from its delay of one year because of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

The delay has caused many teams to prepare for the tournament and many clubs are given a chance for one year to condition their players to go into the field once again.

With the tournament concluded on July 11 at Wembley Stadium where the Italian national team emerged victorious against the English national squad, we can’t help but wonder about the lost teams that have players who have left a mark on the field. Today, let’s take a look at the star players who have been the best players of Euro 2020 football highlights.

Romelu Lukaku – Belgium

The year 2021 is the best year for Lukaku, with his second year of having high scoring goals at Inter with Serie A goals of 24, the Euro 2020 brings Lukaku with fresh air. Along with his performances at the club-level, he also has accuracy in his national team side.

Manuel Locatelli – Italy

Manuel Locatelli is one of the prized layers in Mancini’s team. Locatelli was featured in all of Italy’s World Cup qualifiers and he managed to score his first international goal in Bulgaria. With a lot of determination and vigor, his performance in Euro 2020 is tremendous.

Cristiano Ronaldo – Portugal

We all know that Ronaldo is already a football legend and some of you may disagree if you are a Messi fan. It is clear that Ronaldo has a stunning football career at the club-level but his performance in his national side is struggling.

Portugal has tried to defend their title this year from winning the tournament back in 2016 against France. He is also popular among punters in hbet63 and he will always be one of the best football players there is.

Frenkie de Jong – Netherlands

Frenkie de Jeong is Frank de Boer’s best player in the Neetherland’s national team. Even though he is struggling to make a mark on the football field at his club-level in Barcelona, he is clearly an asset in Boer’s team.

Jadon Sancho – England

Sancho is back to his national team after missing the World Cup qualifiers because of his muscle injury. Sancho has a lot to show for his performance on the international stage and he is up for a good start with England so far. Now the 21-year old is primed and ready to take center stage, let’s hope for the best in the next Euro tournament.

Kylian Mbappé – France

Kylian Mbappe has already won the hearts of many fans and pundits because of his performances in Paris Saint-Germain. He is hailed as the youngest top goal scorer in the World Cup and he is often compared to his buddy Neymar Jr. Even though France is not the winner of this year, we will expect to see more of Mbappe on his national side in the next Euros.

Robert Lewandowski – Poland

After his disappointing performances in World Cup 2018 and Euro 2016, he had done his best to redeem himself in this iteration of Euro tournament. This Polish striker has been a staple player in his club-level team in the Bundesliga. He broke Gerd Muller’s record of 40 goals in the 1971 Bundesliga.

Sergio Busquets – Spain

With the nonappearance of Sergio Ramos in the Spain national team at Euro 2020, Sergio Busquets is the only player the Spanish team can rely on to get through the Euro 2020. Even though he is so much older being 33 years old, he is still a formidable player on the field with his accuracy passing, dribbling style, speed and tactical skills, he can take anyone in no time.

Euro 2020 may be finished, but this hall of fame of players will remain in the sands of football results history. These players are not just players but artists because of their creativity and passion on the field.
